The safety initiative employed by IndyCar has also been outstanding. Moving through to 2023, Dallara engineered innovations for Driver and Fan safety being currently worked on. Dallara's Outstanding DW12 chassis continues to be improved with over 20 restraint tethers employed with additional improvements coming for the 2023 Race Season. Not forgetting that the race tracks that these 2 dominant Series visit each season, race on tracks with Safer Wall Systems designed by the University of Nebraska's Midwest Roadside Safety Facility (MwRSF).
